Job Description:

Our client, a green-tech start up based in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will use your experience in driving a product to market to own designs from requirement capture through to production. You will be confident designing analog and mixed-signal boards, performing integration tasks and interfacing with off-the-shelf hardware. Additionally, you will work with multidisciplinary teams on system design aspects.
The base salary for this role ranges between $150k - $165k, dependant on skills and experience, complemented by equity packages. Additionally, the company provides comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance as well as PTO.
Due to the nature of our clients work, we are only able to accept applications from US Citizens or Green Card holders.
Duties will include:

• Design and develop electrical schematics and printed circuit boards (PCBs) for fault-tolerant and safety-critical control systems.
• Lead engineering efforts for electrical instrumentation and subsystems.
• Collaborate with a talented and diverse team in the planning, execution, and evaluation of high-power electrical control systems.
  To be successful in the role, you will need:
  • Extensive experience designing electrical hardware.
  • Practical experience taking a product through a full lifecycle and getting a product out to market.
  • Competent in schematic design, PCB layout, PCB bring-up, and prototyping (preferably using Altium).
  • Knowledge of low power electronics.
  • Analog & mixed-signal board design experience.
