PositionThe Sales Director-Soccer is responsible for leading
SCORE's soccer sales division. This position will report directly
to the Chief Revenue Officer and lead a team of sales, customer
service, and order entry professionals. This critical role will
lead the largest business unit at SCORE to grow market share
through new customer acquisition as well as retaining key customer
relationships. The Sales Director is responsible for managing and
developing strategic partnerships such as AYSO, state soccer
associations, and other key industry partners. Cross-functional
collaboration and partnership with teammates in sales, marketing,
operations & finance is critical to success in the role. The Sales
Director-Soccer will be responsible for achieving and exceeding the
company's sales goals through professional sales practices, team
leadership, training, exceptional customer service, and maintaining
quality relations with existing accounts.About You
- 7+ years in sales including 3+ years in a sales leadership
role
- Soccer industry experience preferred
- Proven track record of new customer acquisition
- Ability to lead, train, and manage a team to execute the
end-to-end sales process
- Experience in executing contracts and managing sales
programs
- Experience building and maintaining client relationships
- Quantitative analysis

Responsibilities
- Develops sales strategy to maximize sales potential for the
soccer category utilizing competitive sales practices, exceptional
customer service, and knowledge of the company's products and
services as well as the competition's strengths/weaknesses.
- Leads internal and/or external soccer sales team.
- Applies knowledge of company products/services to efficiently
process customer information and respond to inquiries and
complaints in a diplomatic manner.
- Builds and maintains quality relationships with key
partnerships and customers.
- Contacts customers via telephone, email, Zoom, or in person by
traveling as frequently as necessary to meet and surpass profitable
sales goals for the company.
- Assesses quality of offerings and develops opinion reports on
strategies to increase the company's market share. Works across the
organization to influence strategy of product, pricing programs,
fulfillment, and customer support.
- Creates customized proposals to meet specific customer
requirements in an efficient manner by calculating prices,
discounts, and proposals.
- Stays abreast of market conditions regarding products, product
updates, service offerings, and new technologies through available
resources.
- Utilizes company leads to expand current customer base and
follows up all leads promptly.
- Maintains, updates, organizes information on all accounts &
prospects in assigned territory within CRM. Manages CRM compliance
and adoption across the entire team.
- Completes and submits sales reports each week on account
activity, outstanding proposals, proposals secured, and proposals
lost with complete documentation.
- Provides information and/or follows up on customers as
requested.
- Represents the company at trade shows and board meetings as
required.
- Understands and responds to customer delivery needs by working
closely with internal teams to properly meet customer
expectations.
- Processes all paperwork for orders to include sales contracts,
prints, and related documentation.
- Resolves customer concerns in an expeditious and tactful
manner.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.Score Sports offers
competitive pay and benefits. Benefits include medical, dental,
vision, life insurance, and 401K.Salary range is $90,000 - $140,000
depending on experience.
