Job Title: Field Maintenance Technician


Location: Commerce, CA


Shift: Day Shift (shift flexibility is required)


Pay Range: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour


We are looking for a dynamic and dependable Field Service Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience in maintaining and repairing bakery and commercial kitchen equipment. As an extension of our production maintenance team, this role involves visiting various restaurant sites to service, repair, calibrate, and test food service equipment. Additionally, the Field Maintenance Technician will provide customers with guidance on the proper and safe use of the equipment.


Responsibilities:


Travel to various customer sites across California.


Diagnose, fix, calibrate, and clean a range of bakery and commercial kitchen equipment including but limited to: mixers, dividers, proof boxes, baking ovens, tray washers, conveyors, slicers, refrigerators.


Experience with troubleshooting and repairs to electrical systems up to 480v & sensors.


Safely operate in diverse work environments and adhere to lockout/tagout procedures.


Work in confined spaces, requiring kneeling, crouching, and ladder climbing.


Perform preventative maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues and repairing equipment to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.


Provide training to site staff and ensure a positive experience by installing and starting up equipment.


Perform regular inspections, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance equipment reliability and performance.


Coordinate maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks to support uninterrupted production.


Qualifications:


Valid California Driver License.


Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.


Strong written, digital and oral communication skills.


Ability to navigate Windows based systems and Microsoft Office365, Outlook(email), and mobile devices.


Ability to stay motivated and work independently with no supervision.


2 years minimum experience with electrical systems with the ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot.


2 years minimum experience servicing and maintaining food equipment.
